We love drinking wine. The ancient Greeks did too. One of their most prized wines came from the Island of Chios in the Aegean Sea. This island produced a deeply colored and aromatic wine that was prized all over the Mediterranean.

Just Like the Ancient Greeks 🇬🇷 🔱

The ancient Greeks loved wine so much, they made the distinction between “civilized” and “uncivilized” wines. Because wine was a large part of daily life, staying “civilized” was always the goal. These wines were made with local herbs, figs, honey, water, resin, and sometimes even sea water. Grape wines with their high alcohols were not as desirable. Our 2020 ‘Chios’ Syrah Piquette clocks in at approximately 7% alcohol and drinks like those ancient Greek wines. Fresh, aromatic, easy drinking, and keeps you “civilized”.
